The market page
Read a market before you trade: the price chart, the order book, the trades feed, Top Traders and Top Holders.
Click a market row in Explore, or Open on a Rumor AI market card, to open the market page. The trade panel sits on the right; see market and limit orders.
The bar at the top picks the outcome: Yes or No, or the outcome names on markets that use them. The chart, the order book and the trade panel follow your pick. Also in the bar:
- Chevron next to the title, when the event has more than one market: lists the event's markets so you can switch to another one.
- Info icon: opens the Market description window with Polymarket's description of the market, which usually says how it resolves, and a View on Polymarket link. Polymarket writes the rules and resolves markets; Rumor Predict doesn't.
Chart
The chart shows the price history of the selected outcome, with its current probability (NN% Chance) at the top left. The price axis runs from 0.00 to 1.00: read it as 0¢ to 100¢, or as 0% to 100%. Timeframes are 1H, 6H, 1D, 1W, 1M and All (the default).
The two outcomes' prices add up to about $1, so the No chart roughly mirrors the Yes chart.
Order book
The Order Book card shows resting orders for the selected outcome: asks (sell orders, red) above the Spread row and bids (buy orders, green) below it. Each row shows the Price in cents and the Shares resting there. Total is cumulative: the row's price × all shares from the spread out to that row.
- B / S bar: compares the resting shares on each side across the levels shown.
B 86%…14% Smeans 86% are bids. It measures depth, not traded volume. - Spread: best ask minus best bid, in cents and as a percentage of the midpoint. A tight spread means both sides are actively quoted; a wide one means thin liquidity.
- Price grouping: the
1¢dropdown at the top right. 10¢ groups levels into 10-cent ranges, which helps you spot larger walls on a scattered book. It doesn't change the prices you can trade at.
On a thin book, a market order keeps filling at worse prices once the best level is used up. Check the book before a large order, or set your own price with a limit order; see market and limit orders.
Trades feed
The Trades tab below the chart lists trades on this market, newest first. It's public: you don't need to sign in.
When you're signed in, two tabs come before it: Positions, with your positions in this event (This Market and Other Positions), and Orders, with your open orders in this event.
Top Traders and Top Holders
Both tabs are public and list wallets that hold an open position on this market.
| Tab | How it ranks wallets |
|---|---|
| Top Traders | By Realized PnL: the profit or loss the wallet has already locked in on that outcome, highest first. One row per wallet and outcome, so a wallet holding both outcomes appears twice. |
| Top Holders | By position size, largest first, in one panel per outcome (such as Yes holders and No holders). Each row shows the position's Value and Unrealized P&L at the current price. |
Wallet links
Every wallet in Trades, Top Traders and Top Holders has three links:
- Wallet address (shortened): opens that wallet's public profile; see Other traders' profiles on the portfolio page.
- Globe icon: opens the wallet on Polygonscan.
- Filter icon: shows only this wallet's trades on this market, switching to Trades if needed. While the filter is on, the icon turns into
×; click it to show all trades again.
To filter by a wallet that isn't listed, click the filter icon in the Trader column header, paste the wallet's full address into the Filter by Trader window (a shortened one won't match) and click Apply. Reset there clears the filter.
