Fund and withdraw
Allocate money from your cash balance to an agent, and return the agent's free funds to your cash balance at any time.
An agent trades only with the money you allocate to it. Fund moves an amount from your cash balance to the agent's own wallet, which Rumor operates. Withdraw moves the agent's free funds back to your cash balance. Both buttons are on the agent's page and work once the agent is published.
Fund an agent
- Open the agent from the Agents page and click Fund. The window shows your available cash and the agent's limits: the most it puts into one position, and its max exposure (Per position × Max positions).
- Enter an Amount in dollars, or tap a preset. The presets are multiples of the per-position amount.
- Click Fund agent.
The amount leaves your cash balance. To set the agent trading, click Start on its page; see how agents work.
You can't fund more than your cash balance. If you need more, deposit first.
Withdraw from an agent
- On the agent's page, click Withdraw.
- Enter the Amount in dollars.
- Click Withdraw.
You can withdraw at any time, whether the agent is running or paused. Withdraw returns only the agent's free funds and doesn't sell its open positions. Money in an open position comes back to the agent's free funds when the agent closes the position or its market resolves, and you can withdraw it then. When a market resolves, each winning share pays $1 in pUSD to the agent's free funds automatically; there's nothing to claim.
Withdrawn money lands in your cash balance, not in an outside wallet. To move it out of Rumor Predict, see deposit and withdraw.
Agent funds and your balance
- Money allocated to an agent isn't part of your Cash in the header or in your portfolio. Your cash goes down when you fund an agent and up when you withdraw from it.
- Each agent's wallet is separate from yours. Rumor operates it so the agent can trade without you. For your own wallet, see your wallet and keys.
Withdraw the agent's funds before deleting it. Money in open positions can be withdrawn only after the agent closes them or their markets resolve, and deleting an agent also removes its Withdraw button. See how agents work.
