Referrals

Share your referral link, see the accounts created through it, and change the name in the link.

Click Referrals in the header to open the referrals page. If you aren't signed in, the sign-in window opens first.

Click Copy link and send the link to the people you want to invite. It looks like https://predict.rumor.trade/ref/<name>, where <name> is your portfolio name.

Opening your link saves you as the referrer in that browser and opens Rumor Predict on the Rumor AI page. When that person signs in for the first time and their account is created, it counts as your referral.

Only new accounts count: someone who already has an account doesn't become your referral, and an account's referrer never changes.

Track your referrals

  • Total Active Referrals: the number of accounts created through your link.
  • Total Volume Generated: the total trading volume of those accounts, in dollars.

Below them, a table lists your referrals with each one's join date, volume and PnL. Click a username to open their public profile.

You get a generated name when you sign up; you can change it. The same name is your referral link, your portfolio name and your public profile address, so changing it changes all three.

  1. Click Edit Link. The pencil next to your name in your portfolio opens the same window.
  2. In the Edit name window, type the new name in Portfolio name.
  3. Click Save. If the name is taken, you see Username already taken.

Renaming changes your referral link and your public profile address. Links you already shared stop working. Referrals you already have stay with you. If you plan to rename, do it before you start sharing.
