How agents work
An agent is a private strategy you describe to Rumor AI; once you publish it, fund it and click Start, it trades Polymarket markets on its own until you pause it.
An agent is a private, autonomous trading strategy on Polymarket. You describe the idea in plain words in the Build tab of Rumor AI, and Rumor AI turns it into settings: which markets, which outcome, what price range and how much per position. Only you see your agents.
From idea to running agent
- Describe. Click Create agent on the Agents page, or open Rumor AI and switch to Build. See build an agent.
- Publish. When every card is complete, click Publish private agent. Its status changes from Needs input to Published.
- Fund. On the agent's page, click Fund to move an amount from your cash balance to the agent's own wallet, which Rumor operates. See fund and withdraw.
- Start. Click Start on the agent's page. From then on it trades on its own.
What the agent does on its own
Once started, the agent finds Polymarket markets that pass its filters, opens positions on the chosen outcome within its budget and Slippage limit, and closes them on its own. There is no confirmation step for each trade. It keeps running after you close the tab or sign out, until you pause it.
An agent follows the settings you gave it, and its results depend on the markets. Check its max exposure (Per position × Max positions) before you fund it.
Your agents
Click Agents in the header to see every agent you've built. On a phone, open it from the menu; building and managing agents work there too (see Rumor Predict on your phone). The status reads Needs input for an unpublished draft, Published once you publish it and Paused after you pause it.
Click an agent to open its page. Its Performance card shows Realized PnL, Win rate (the share of closed positions that ended in profit), Trades and Volume for 24H, 7D, 30D or All.
Start and pause
Click Pause on the agent's page to stop it, and Start to resume. Pausing moves no money: the funds stay with the agent.
Edit the strategy
Edit strategy on the agent's page reopens its Build chat. Tell Rumor AI what to change, then click Update agent in the strategy panel. Until you do, the agent keeps its current settings. You don't need to pause it first.
Rename an agent
Click the pencil next to a published agent's name, type the new Agent name and click Save. Its Build chat takes the new name too.
Delete an agent
You remove an agent by deleting its Build chat: in Rumor AI, switch to Build, open the ⋯ menu next to the chat and click Delete. The agent disappears at once. There's no confirmation, and it can't be restored.
Withdraw the agent's funds before deleting it. Money in open positions comes back to the agent's free funds only when the agent closes those positions or their markets resolve. Withdraw it then, and delete the agent after. See fund and withdraw.
